Collision at Elizabeth and Northridge slows afternoon traffic

Crews are responding to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Northridge Drive. 

The call came in at approximately 4 p.m. Friday. Okotoks RCMP, municipal enforcement, fire services and emergency medical services attended the scene. 

There were no significant injuries, said Okotoks Fire Capt. Greg Kosk, adding it's believed one vehicle may have gone through on a red light.

Traffic is restricted in all directions as clean up efforts are underway, but tow crews are expected to have the scene clear in 30-45 minutes.
