The Dewdney Players are bringing their one-act play Able Cable to the Rotary Performing Arts Centre from March 30 to April 1 at 7:30 p.m. Accompanying the play will be a performance by Okotoks musicians Brettyn Rose on March 30 and Dwight Forseth on March 31 and April 1. Children's Makerspace at the Okotoks Public Library allows kids to drop into the children’s area of the library and make a themed craft. The Sheep Creek Arts Council in Diamond Valley is offering more classes this spring. Starting on April 1, Nadine Crowchild is coming up from Lethbridge to give a class on beading on fabric. Starting on April 4, there are four Tuesday evening classes on Beginner Quilting taught by Joyce Brown, who is also teaching a weekend workshop on thread painting on April 15 and 16. The Okotoks & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2023 Trade & Lifestyle Show on Saturday, April 1 (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Sunday, April 2 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the Okotoks Recreation Centre. The Big Rock Singers present Viva Italia on Saturday, April 1 at Okotoks United Church. There will be two performances: 4 and 7:30 p.m. The choir will be participating in the 2023 Verona International Choral Competition as well as performing in other Italian cities this spring.
