The 2024 season of the Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market has just one weekend left.
Featuring more than 300 vendors and a range of festive experiences, the market concludes its seasonal run at the Foothills County equestrian facility from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.
The market, which attracts thousands from throughout the region, is reminiscent of one found in Europe.
Additions to this year’s market include elevated gastropub delights during Aprés Market Saturday night dinners and entertainment at the brand-new outdoor Scotiabank Stage. There are also more unique decorations than ever before, which is saying something given the grounds had over 40 kilometres of lighting last year.
Returning favourites include a huge selection of food options, from chimney cakes to cheese fondue crusty rolls, Long Table Dinners on Friday evenings and High Teas on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
There is also a KIDS’ Zone, carolers, Santa in Candy Cane Lane and Sunday visits by Santa’s reindeer.
The market is open Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Admission is $15.
