Parking ban coming Friday to streets in downtown Okotoks

A parking ban has been declared for some streets in downtown Okotoks later this week.
The Town of Okotoks is anticipating it will be over-budget in snow clearing and removal for 2018.

A parking ban has been declared for some streets in downtown Okotoks after significant snowfall last week.

The parking ban will be in place on Elma Street from Northridge Drive to Clark Avenue, and Clark Avenue from Elma Street East to McRae Street. 

The parking ban will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 for snow removal. 

All vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the road while the ban is in effect.
