There will be free popcorn for those taking in a double-feature tonight in Ethel Tucker Centennial Park.

The Town of Okotoks is hosting a double-feature in Ethel Tucker Centennial Park this evening (Friday, Sept. 6).

The free event will include a pair of family-friendly movies: The Incredibles followed by Footloose.

There will be food trucks on site as well as free popcorn. Those attending are reminded to bring blankets, lawn chairs and dancing shoes.

Kicking off the evening at 6:30 p.m. will be The Incredibles, a 2004 animated superhero film that sees Mr. Incredible battle an out-of-control robot.

After the first movie, a dance party with Tamara Boivin will get the crowd in the mood for Footloose, the 1984 Kevin Bacon classic where a teen fights against the establishment of a small Midwestern town where dancing and rock music have been made illegal.
