Don’t automatically roll that green cart to the curb next week in Okotoks or Diamond Valley.
Both jurisdictions are moving to a bi-weekly organics collection, which runs from November to the end of March.
Green carts are collected weekly from April to the end of October.
Green carts will be picked up on your household's designated waste collection day, but every other week.

In Diamond Valley, green cart collection will alternate weekly between Black Diamond and Turner Valley. In Black Diamond, green carts will be picked up on Nov. 6 and then every two weeks thereafter; in Turner Valley, bi-weekly collection begins on Nov. 13.
