UPDATE: 1:23 p.m.
Firefighters said they have got a storage barn fire under control.
A post frame hay shed's contents ignited Tuesday afternoon north west of Okotoks on Highway 552 West.
Callers reported the blaze and black smoke just after 1 p.m.
The building was fully engulfed in flames and the roof had collapsed by the time firefighters arrived on scene.
Foothills and Okotoks Firefighters on scene said no other structures were threatened by the fire and began taking defensive measures.
