Highwood MLA and parliamentary secretary for EMS reform RJ Sigurdson is set to make an appearance at an event in Okotoks tonight, supported by the local EMS Crisis Citizen Action Group.
From 6 to 7:30 p.m., Sigurdson will be available to address questions and concerns about emergency medical services in Okotoks and the Foothills.
A poster distributed by the group reads, "Have questions about your local EMS? Response times, hospital waiting, EMS crews staffing, paramedic morale, alternative transport – ask RJ what's being done."
The event is being held at the Okotoks Elks Club.
