Your library card could help you win big at the Okotoks Public Library.
To mark Canadian Library Month in October, the library is holding a Library Card Contest. During the month, anyone who renews their existing library card or purchases a new library card will be automatically entered into a draw to win a $200 Visa gift card or four tickets to a Calgary Wranglers game.
A draw will be held on Nov. 4.
All library card accounts are valid for one year from date of purchase, or from current expiry date if you choose early renewal.
An individual library card costs $15, while a family card is $25. For seniors (65+), an individual library card is $10 and a family card is $15. Cards are free for those 80 and over.
