Water is in the spotlight all over the world today.

The Town of Okotoks' Environmental Education Centre's Nature Friday is hosting an event commemorating World Water Day today until 4 p.m. Attendees can work on crafts, including colouring pages and making their own headbands, and there is time dedicated to discussions around water management and sustainability.

World Water Day, observed worldwide on March 22, is a United Nations initiative focused on freshwater and its conservation.

Water is always a major topic of discussion in Okotoks. This event highlights many of those concerns in a fun and engaging way that kids can process.
