The Town of Okotoks is seeking community feedback as it develops strategies to address the community’s social needs.

A Social Needs Assessment is now being undertaken to assess strengths, assets and emerging needs in Okotoks.

A community engagement session is being held on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Olympic Room at Viking Rentals Centre. Register by Oct. 22 at shapeourtown.okotoks.ca

The Town is calling on residents, businesses, social service organizations and other groups to help identify priorities and emerging trends.

It is asking people to share their thoughts on what is important to them, what is working well and what may not be.

Information collected through the assessment will become a part of the foundation for the development of social wellness strategies, with actionable plans, aimed to be finalized in early 2025.
