MyCityCare Okotoks is gearing up for its annual Shop of Wonders.
It announced on Oct. 24 that it’s starting to accept donations of the following items: wrapping paper, gift bags, tape, bows and labels.
They can be dropped off at Foothills Cleaners in Okotoks and High River.
Shop of Wonders provides gifts for children by offering parents a personal shopping appointment leading up to Christmas.
Over 1,200 children in the Foothills benefited from the campaign in 2023, up from about 900 the year before.
MyCityCare Okotoks has also opened registration for Shop of Wonders, which is open to families that reside in the Foothills area.
