Tim Hortons in Okotoks’ Westmount Centre recently closed, but people looking for their double-double don’t have far to go to get their fix.
Windows at the coffee shop are papered over, a dumpster sits in the parking lot, and a sign in the front door confirms the closure.
Customers are directed to other Tim Hortons locations in Okotoks: one about a kilometre north on Southridge Drive, open 24 hours, and another three kilometres across town on Southbank Boulevard.
Tim Hortons restaurants are owned by Restaurant Brands International Inc., but are independently operated.
The restaurant owner didn’t immediately return a call seeking more information.
