The loving wife and family of Robert John
Mcgregor is saddened to announce his
passing on October 4th, 2023, at the
age of 98. Bob was born in Calgary on
August 24th, 1925, and raised in Kew,
Alberta to James and Maude Mcgregor.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years Joyce,
sons Bryan, William, Cameron, Bruce, and
Robin; daughters’ in-law Sharen, Rhoda,
Heather, and Janette. 19 grandchildren and
17 great grandchildren as well as his sister
Eleanor (Nell) and brother James (Jim). Bob
was predeceased by brothers Bill, Allan
and Gordon, sisters Margie, Jean and Gladys.
Bob ran a mixed farming operation south
of Black diamond until semi-retirement in
1976 and moved to Parksville, BC. followed
by Kelowna then to settle in High River.
Bob had a legendary sense of humor and
will be dearly missed by us all.
A celebration of life will be held
Saturday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Turner Valley Legion
