Ruth McKeage passed away with her family by her side on June 22, 2024, at the age of 82 years.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her children Tim (Diane), Darcey (Korrine), Patt (Brian); grandchildren Stephanie (Sadiea), Kristin, Megan (Brad), Abby (Kael), Max, Tyler, Cory; and numerous other family and friends.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Gerry, parents Arthur and Elsie, siblings Helen and Myrna, parents-in-law Ed and Jean, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marlene (Dick).
To know her was to love her. Ruth was cherished by many friends, old and new, and relations spanning all generations. Ruth had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. She was a talented seamstress, skilled baker, avid reader, prolific writer, mahjong master, yoga seeker, active walker, and so much more. Ruth was always up for trying new things like learning how to golf at age 80.
Her wisdom and calm gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
