1945 – 2022
It is with great sorrow that we announce that
our dear friend Diane Spankie passed away
on November 28, 2022 in the ICU at Foothills
Hospital in Calgary.
Diane was beloved mom to her dogs, Bear,
Nova, and Ziva, and those that have already
crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Diane was with
friends when she passed from this life and
went to join her dogs, friends, and family
members once again. We picture her at a mad
tea party, drinking whisky, sneaking treats
to the animals, and loving everyone being
together again.
She kept our secrets, shared in our joy, and
loved her friends with fierce loyalty. Diane
was tough and irreverent and naughty and
funny and warm and generous to a fault.
We will miss you forever.
