Stephen Niles aged 73 of Okotoks, Alberta
passed away peacefully at his home on
November 2nd, 2024. Born in Kingston Ontario
on October 9th, 1951, he was the son of the
late Douglas Niles and Doris McDonnell.
Stephen leaves behind, the love of his life, his
wife Julie Niles, his sons Jade Radke (Dianna)
of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Jordan Titus of
Peterborough Ontario, his daughter Leah
Niles, Megan Niles, both of Okotoks, Alberta,
and Stephanie Goetheyn (Adam) of Chatham
Ontario. In addition, he leaves his cherished
grandchildren Seth, Maria, Trace, Keegan,
Dominic, Maddilyn, Lyric and Salem, along
with several nieces and nephews. Brother
Jeffrey Niles (Susan) of Kingston Ontario,
Sister Nedra Leahul (Ray) of High River.
In keeping with Stephen’s wishes a funeral
service will not be held, however for those
who would like to share their stories and
happy times with Stephen a Celebration of
Life/Open House will be held later.
The family would like to express their thanks
to the Foothills Palliative Care Team and
the Foothills Home Services, as well as Dr’s
Ricard, Hembroff and Lemire, Ansell and Spice
for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
the Canadian Cancer Society.
