June 24, 1934 - October 10, 2024
Beloved wife of Dave Beeman of Canmore and mother of son Brad
and daughter Tracy Hardstaff, passed away to be with Jesus on
October 10, 2024 at the age of 90.
Val was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. An only child, she grew up attending
some twenty-seven different grade schools while traveling with her parents
in Canada, the United States and Columbia, eventually settling in Calgary.
Val was a secretary, bookkeeper, fashion model, aerobic dancer, skier,
tennis player, cyclist, hiker, vacation traveler, dog lover, gourmet cook,
homemaker and perhaps above all, a kind and compassionate Christian
wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and long-time member of
St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Okotoks.
Val is survived by her husband Dave Beeman, son Brad Hardstaff (Janiline)
and their sons Kyle, Jared and daughter Kaylyn, daughter Tracy Hardstaff
and her daughters Jordan Valeri (Nik) and their son Wyatt, CassidyWagner
(Kristin) and their children Elsie Lola, Boy Wyld, Lou Bear and Oliv West,
Alexandra (Ali) Hardstaff, stepsons Glen Beeman (Lucy), Robb (Hanna),
Neil (Dawn) and stepdaughter Jill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made directly to a cancer, diabetes
or heart and stroke foundation.
