I'm more concerned about people's sidewalks; for a town of people that are so friendly, a lot of people aren't very neighbourly -- at least not when it comes to doing their duty of clearing the sidewalks in front of their homes!

Maybe some enforcement of that could pay for some additional ice removal.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that the ice situation this year was a little extraordinary and you can't clear inches thick ice off roads like that. Not when our temperatures have been so rollercoaster.

I would also suggest that the people who clear the roads lift their blade when approaching a drive way. They consistently pile ice snow and debris from the road in front of my driveway making it difficult and sometimes impossible to get out. I shovel my walks and drive way every time it snows only to come out to a large pile of ice and debris piled in the end of my driveway.

I have recently moved to Okotoks and certainly didn't expect how destructive the deer were. For people who try to beautify the landscape around their homes it becomes very costly when the deer destroy the trees, flowers, and bushes. It would be nice if they could be contained to selected areas around town where they could still thrive and not over run the town.
