It is exactly this attitude that continues to drive a wedge to divide our great country. The more arrogant Upper and Lower Canada get the more likely their worst fears will come true.

Be careful what you wish for. Dare I suggest you are likely a Liberal living in Ontario or Quebec?

Very sensible. The Liberal elites in Upper and Lower Canada have ruined this nation. When you attempt to take advantage of one region for the benefit of another (read Western Canada for the benefit of Quebec, Ontario and Atlantic Provinces) you divided the country and create alternate. Without a doubt, everyone in Western Canada would be economically better off aligned with the US and separate from the rest of Canada. Unfortunately, that would destroy the country that I love. I am a nationalist, but there are limits and the Liberal government squandering the goodwill of Western Canada is at a break-point. Make no mistake, the separation risk is not from Quebec who needs Western Canadian subsidies, the risk to Canada is Western Canadian Provinces and Alberta specifically.

This has always been about Trump wanting to renegotiate the CUSMA and achieve a better outcome for the US. The simple answer is to get off our high horse, get on a plane and get the contract updated and achieve some certainty. Carbon Carney with his reciprocal tariffs will just add fuel to the fire. Canadians need to know that Carney believes China should lead the world and he remains committed to net zero nonsense. Surely not even the folks in Ontario and Quebec are dumb enough to be fooled by the fellow who has been the "shadow" PM for the past 3 or more years.

Price continues to rise and the service continues to drop. Canada Post is a broken business model and needs a complete overhaul in an attempt to make themselves relevant and competitive.

Spot on and very logical. We have many critical issues that face each of us every day and it is clear that Poilievre is focused and ready to implement policies that will help with affordability, safety, jobs, smaller government, and common sense leadership. Long overdue.

We have to ask ourselves who the folks are that believe he should not resign, don't know or depends. What world are they living in? These are the voters that put Canada into jeopardy.

About time the minister woke up. The postal service is a monopoly and should therefore be deemed an essential service with no labor disruption permitted. Further, the market has changed over the years and the historic postal business model is no longer relevant or sustainable. Instead of striking the postal workers should be focused on how they can stay relevant and keep a job. Either make themselves useful of go the way of the dodo bird.

Clearly necessary. However, one has to wonder if the "traditional methods of healing" are so effective why is this program needed at all. Also, how is this program going to work any differently from the individuals' experience leading up judicial intervention?

These criminals...all of them...need to be sent away for a very long time. That said, our wussy judicial system will probably just have a group hug, blame it all on a troubled upbringing and admonish them not to do this kind of thing again. The real answer is to make the criminal pay a price that is so high they think twice about doing this kind of behavior ever again. If a judge lets them off, he/she should have to take personal responsibility for their actions going forward. Enough of the molly-coddling.
