My sincere condolences go out to all of Phyllis and Austin’s family. Phyllis was a colorful personality enjoyed by many. She will be missed in the Valley. I’m sure she is creating a stir with her entrance into the new energy medium.

Wonderful, heartwarming story. It’s not the people, it’s the leadership, brainwashing of desperate people looking for a glimmer of hope to improve their lives and then deceived again that have given Trump his mandate. Putting trust in a convicted felon and psychopath shows desperation. Thanks to the generous American who like most of us wonders “what can I do that would help”? She found a meaningful way to restore faith in the fact that our appreciation of neighbors and our history is challenged but not to give up hope in people. Perhaps common sense will prevail in the end with some fancy footwork and retaliation where it hurts most -economic strategies.

How does Danielle Smith and her UCP team presume they have the majority of Albertans behind this preposterous idea of joining the USA. And how dare she, as our elected leader take time from her job as Premier to go fund raise for the ultra right wing nuts in the USA. We need an election. Her mismanagement, corrupt practices and lack of integrity must be visible by this point to the majority of Albertans. Enough.

A great loss for our Bow Valley Community. Larry always had a smile and a joke for everyone. I got to know Larry through the Eagles organization. His energy was infectious. My sincere condolences to all Larry’s many friends and his family. He will be missed.

Many residents feel the same way and were vocal regarding the hazards of closing the last true skinny little area used by a diverse wildlife population. Hopefully Parks does not allow this would be travesty if the Town of Banff does not stand up to do the right and well documented need for preservation of this area. Find other parking solutions Coincil or limit the numbers of cars allowed in Town.

Council would be wise to heed the words of our first mayor. Making wise decisions takes integration, time and the ability to reflect on what may be forever lost as well as what is gained. Choosing “ expert opinions paid by stakeholders “ is not accountability.
Focus on housing not tourists. They will come. The tourist cat is out of the bag. If hotel rooms aren’t full , decrease your price. BLLT’s job is done. They are should be focusing on how to help those who employ them keep staff to serve the tourists they have. All the “ communication events” and surveys won’t buffalo the electorate. Intimidation of workers is a known fact. The poll box is at least anonymous. This rambling is an indication of just how integrated the issues are.

Something positive from the UCP.

This is a tragedy. Peter Quinn and his team have served our Valley exactly as described in this letter. This decision by the UCP shows poor understanding of the service provided. They dismantle and fly by the seat of their pants. Why don’t they get a solid plan first?

This individual should be charged and brought to trial. He wasted Parks Canada time and money.
