Oh please ...some of these points have substance but I also see no understanding. It is with little investigation that one can find put about many of these concerns, the fact they are broad with condemnation sounds more like whining to me. While no government is without its drawbacks, you fail to point out that public employees are some of the most well compensated in the federation and funding for health care is also one of highest in country. Why shouldn't parents have the right to chose where they send their children...school choice in my opinion should be expanded and public schools should compete for students, maybe it would help raise standards with all. Oh by the way those red states you are referring to are economic powerhouses...maybe we should be looking to emulate some of their success.

So all of you should read a little more. Fire experts have been warning that both Jasper and Banff have been tinder kegs waiting to go up in flames for years and what happened? Only 10% of the prescribed burns were actually completed and the beetle killed trees that had been there for years on the edge of Jasper were left standing and not removed as concerned citizens advocated for. Meanwhile we have Feds that spend all their money advertising about climate change and should spend a bit of that carbon tax they collect on preventative measures (they don't) instead they build battery plants. You complain about AB money not forthcoming....don't you live in a Federal park. As far as the wildfire cut backs and smoke jumper units moving to BC that was initiated by the Notley government. Kenney didn't reinstate but Smith increased funding (have a look). If we are going to be supportive or critical of our leaders we should check facts first. Years of suppression and advocacy has consequences.
