The rapid surge in 'yes' votes—nearly 100 in under an hour after trailing by a significant margin—raises concerns about the poll's validity. What measures is the Western Wheel taking to prevent bots from manipulating the results, potentially dividing our community or causing people to doubt their own views on such a critical issue as our premier's handling of Trump?

Every time I see a 'column' by Barlow, I think to myself--how is this journalism? How is this allowed in our paper? Is this not just pure conservative propaganda? He just spews total lies and you let him? Mark Carney is not 'unelected' --he was duly chosen as the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. Same way Danielle was made the leader of the UCP after Kenney. Same way Kim Campbell was chosen to be Prime Minister when Mulroney stepped down. This is how our democracy works and you would hope that our MP would understand that. As a constituent, I am EXHAUSTED of his divisive rhetoric and I hope that we all come to our senses and kick the conservatives to the curb. They are only dividing us.
