Today is your last chance to get your Western Wheel Cares 50/50 tickets.
Tickets are available at the Western Wheel office, 9 McRae St., during office hours today and final ticket sales will take place tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. during Light Up Okotoks.
The winning ticket will be drawn on Monday, Nov. 25 and published in the Wednesday, Nov. 27 issue of the Western Wheel.
With a limited availability of tickets, prices are $5 each or five for $20, with the lucky winner taking home up to $6,500 depending on how many tickets are sold.
The other half of the pot goes directly to the seven organizations supported by Western Wheel Cares: Foothills Advocacy in Motion Society, Foothills Country Hospice, Inclusion Foothills, Okotoks Food Bank, Pound Rescue, Rowan House Society and Sheep River Health Trust.
Now in its 13th year, Western Wheel Cares takes donations from the community and distributes them evenly to the seven organizations. Last year, a record $100,002 was raised, smashing the previous mark of $82,670 from a year earlier and bringing the 12-year total to $669,061.
