In recognition of National Entrepreneurs Day, a panel discussion aimed at supporting new businesses and startups will be held in Diamond Valley.

‘Starting a Business in Diamond Valley’ will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheep River Library.

Entrepreneurs in the startup or idea phase are invited to attend the free session dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial success.

The event is presented by the Sheep River Library, Diamond Valley Chamber of Commerce and Community Futures Highwood, which are all committed to empowering local entrepreneurs and fostering a robust business ecosystem in Diamond Valley.

Organizers say that starting a business can often be a perplexing endeavour. This event features a distinguished panel of business owners from Diamond Valley who will share their insights and experiences in navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship from a local perspective.

Designed specifically for individuals at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey, this event will offer valuable perspectives, actionable strategies and networking opportunities essential for growth and success.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with the panelists during a structured Q&A session, enabling them to address their specific inquiries and concerns.

The event also aims to cultivate a supportive environment for networking, allowing attendees to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and explore potential collaborations.

"We know that strong local businesses are at the heart of Diamond Valley," said Hazel Martin and John Waring. "This event is a chance for entrepreneurs to pick up practical tips, hear from folks who've been in their shoes and make connections that can help bring their ideas to life."
