A fire that started in a garage grew and engulfed a home in flames near Priddis on Wednesday afternoon.
Turner Valley RCMP said there were no injuries but the home is a "complete loss."
Fire departments from Foothills County and Diamond Valley were called to the blaze near Highway 762 and 242 Avenue West, in Foothills County, at about 4 p.m. on Jan. 29.
When fire crews arrived, the fire had spread from a garage to the house, Diamond Valley Fire Rescue (DVFR) said.
Firefighters set up rural water shuttle operations to fight the fire and focused their efforts on containing the fire and limiting its spread.
Most fire crews were on scene until about 10 p.m. but some stayed overnight, DVFR said.
The Foothills Fire Department responded from Priddis, Spruce Meadows and Heritage Pointe stations.
The cause of the fire is being investigated but does not appear to be suspicious, police said.
