Foothills business to continue supporting community with new store

A Longview clothing boutique is doing much more than just selling trendy clothes.

District on 22 started as Fringe Clothing Boutique in 2016, but has come a long way since then. After nearly nine years of Foothills fashion online, the business has opened a brick-and-mortar location in Longview.

Beyond just business, Sabrina Baker, who owns District on 22 and lifestyle brand Blonde Ambition Apparel & Designs, is heavily involved in the community.

"Over the past five years, we've donated over $57,000 to local charities, and so we are going to continue that work," said Baker, who held a grand opening celebration for the store on Saturday, May 11.

"Because we're opening the storefront in Longview for the month of May, a portion of all our storefront sales will go towards the Longview School to help with their lunch program for the youth and the transportation."

Beyond supporting charities and community initiatives, Baker proudly supports fellow local businesses.

"There's a lot going on in Longview, so it's kind of a great day for people to come to Longview to check it all out," she said.

On Saturday, Longview and area also featured a Mother's Day market at the Longview Community Hall, a mini market and pancake breakfast at Twin Cities Hotel and a third anniversary celebration at agri-tourism destination Hartell Homestead.
