A chance to have broken items repaired for free is coming up at a Repair Café in Diamond Valley.
The Repair Café is on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Griffiths Centre.
Volunteer fixers do their best to repair broken household items at no cost.
There is also a reading table with books about repairs and do-it-yourself jobs, that is meant to teach people how to take on their own repairs.
