GALLERY: Dewdney Players crank up volume in farcical 'Noises Off'

Okotoks theatre group takes classic comedy 'Noises Off' to Calgary's YMCA Seton

The Dewdney Players have turned it up to 11 with their latest production.

Noises Off tells the story of a play-within-a-play in which a group of actors and an agitated director scramble to rehearse ahead of opening night of its play Nothing On. The classic comedic play, written in 1982 by English playwright Michael Frayn, opened last week at the Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton's Evan Hazell Theatre.

Performances of Noises Off continue for four more days this week from Nov. 6-9 with nightly shows at 7 p.m. along with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.
