Lego Contest returning to Okotoks Public Library

Registration is open for kids to submit their best Lego creations for a contest on Saturday, March 22.

Lego builders will soon come together at the Okotoks Public Library to show off their creations.

The library's annual Lego Contest returns on Saturday, March 22, with kids ages six to 13 eligible to enter.

Contestants can bring their finished Lego project, which cannot be a kit creation, to the library, where people can vote on their favourite entries.

Preregistration for the contest is required. Learn more and register on the Okotoks Public Library website.

Last year's contest saw Lochlan Rourke take home the 9+ prize thanks to his life-sized Star Wars Kylo Ren lightsaber, while Zoey Huff's The Wild Robot replica earned her the win in the 6-8 category.

The Okotoks Public Library hosts a free Lego club every Wednesday.
