Spruce Meadows is known for horses but animals of all varieties will be in the spotlight next weekend for the annual PetFest.
Running from April 11 to 13, PetFest celebrates the incredible world of pets through demonstrations, speakers, vendors and more.
The indoor festival has a variety of features, including a new Reptilian Pavilion with exotic animals on display and a stage for live presentations and demonstrations.
The Equi-Plex Animal Services Arena will host the Prairie Dogs agility team, corgi races, duck herding and more, while the Riding Hall will be home to sheep herding, miniature horse jumping, and a horse and hound relay.
PetFest will also include 60-plus vendors selling unique pet products, accessories and treats.
Other activities include mini-animal petting zoo, RCMP K-9 unit and adoptable animals.
PetFest runs from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 12 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 13.
Tickets are $5 for kids/seniors and $15 for adults. They can be purchased in advance at sprucemeadows.com/petfest or at the gate.
