A warm and sunny week is in store for the Foothills, according to weather forecasts.
In Okotoks, Environment Canada is calling for a high of zero on Saturday but says temperatures will start to climb on Sunday and should be well above normal for the rest of the week.
Sunday’s high is 8 C under mainly sunny skies, and the warm weather should last, with highs near 12 degrees possible on Monday and Thursday.
A normal high temperature for this time of year is -4 C, with lows hitting -15 C, Environment Canada said.
