It turns out Santa Claus is a biker.
Bikers Are Buddies, an Alberta-based organization created by bikers to fight bullying, is bringing Santa, Mrs. Claus, reindeer and elves to Okotoks Lions Campground on Saturday, Dec. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. for a family-friendly function.
Santa may skate if weather allows, though considering the warm forecast for this weekend and the Lions Campground skating trail not yet being open, it's unlikely.
If he doesn't skate, Santa and his North Pole entourage will take part in other fun events like games, going on a walk and more.
Bikers Are Buddies has a history of supporting the Okotoks community, including riding alongside Okotoks brothers Kolten and Keegan Davis in August as part of their campaign to combat childhood cancer, as well as attending this year's Okotoks Show & Shine.
