Clock in Olde Towne Okotoks getting some TLC

The clock in Okotoks' Olde Towne Plaza has been sent for repairs and should be fixed and ticking by early October.

The iconic clock in the Olde Towne Plaza has stopped working and is being repaired, said a post on Okotoks Mayor Tanya Thorn's Facebook page.

According to the post, gears are stripped and the timepiece has been sent to the manufacturer, where it will get a complete overhaul.

The clock should be back up and running in about five weeks.
