Students at an Okotoks school made the most of winter this week.
Dr. Morris Gibson School held its first-ever winter carnival on Feb. 6, with a host of activities inside and outside of the school.
Students took part in sledding and ice bowling, froze maple syrup in a sugar shack, played games and had a visit from French-Canadian musician and storyteller Roger Dallaire.
There was a snowball relay, crafts and dancing, and, of course, hot chocolate and hockey.
