A potluck was held to welcome Ukrainian newcomers at the Okotoks United Church on Jan. 28.
Organized by the Foothills Community Immigrant Services, the gathering provided an opportunity to introduce newcomers, most of whom had fled the war in their home country, to locals. The potluck included members of the community, FCIS staff and Town officials.
