A lengthy road closure starts Monday in the DeWinton area.
Foothills County announced that 64 Street West, between 226 Ave. and 242 Ave. West, will be closed by Foothills Public Works from Sept. 30-Nov. 15 for bridge replacement.
The road is adjacent to the Sirocco Golf and Rocky Mountain Showjumping northwest of Okotoks and near the Calgary city limits.
Road detours will be in place with local access as posted. The alternate route is 226 Ave. West, 80th St. West and 242 Ave. West.
In the news release, the County added it apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for understanding.
