Day three of the Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival is officially underway.

Main Street Market is taking part in the beloved festival, which has local businesses create their own unique hot chocolate drinks in a competition where people can vote to see who makes the best and most original drink.

Their entry into the contest is the "Banana Cream" take-home kit.

The drink was developed by The Spice Cabinet Traditions, an Innisfail business.

A pop-up will be hosted by Main Street Market on Saturday for people to try the hot chocolate in-store, with help from The Spice Cabinet Traditions.

The Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary, runs until Feb. 17.

More information on the event, including a list of participating businesses and an interactive map, is available here.
