Okotoks residents can warm up at rec centre or Centennial Arenas

The Okotoks Recreation Centre and Centennial Arenas are available as warming spaces, the Town said.
The Okotoks Centennial Arena will be known as the Pason Centennial Arena by the start of the Alberta Junior Hockey League season.
The Okotoks Centennial Arenas can be used as warming spaces during the cold snap.

As temperatures plummet over the coming days, there are a couple of options available for people to warm up in Okotoks.

The Okotoks Recreation Centre (ORC) and Centennial Arenas are available as warming spaces during the cold snap, the Town said.

The ORC is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends, and the Centennial Arenas are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

Unsheltered residents can use the warming spaces or contact the Okotoks Family Resource Centre for additional support at 403-995-2626.
