Okotoks spray park hours extended as high temperatures continue

As the sun continues to beat down on Okotoks and much of Southern Alberta, the Town has decided to extend the hours of the spray park. 

The park will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday so the community has additional space to cool down. 

Weather forecasts projected temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s until at least Sunday. 

The Town said that because the spray park operates on a closed-loop system, it is more cost effective and sustainable compared to using a garden hose or a sprinkler to keep cool. 

Patrons are encouraged to keep up to speed with the park's operating hours by visiting the Town's website.
