Alberta’s ultimate youth sports showcase is back this weekend.
Following a cycle hiatus amid the pandemic, the Alberta Winter Games are back on the docket Feb. 16-19 in Grande Prairie with 43 athletes from Okotoks set to compete along with five from DeWinton, two from Turner Valley and one representing Cayley.
Local athletes will be competing in a wide array of events from badminton, artistic gymnastics, curling, hockey and alpine skiing to fencing and archery.
