July 25, 1964 - June 13, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Donna Lee Gregg, on Thursday, June 13, 2024 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 59.
Donna was the heart of our home and family. She will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Rick MacLean; her three children: Philip Gregg (Samantha), Katie Gregg, and Mackenzie Gregg (Hailee); as well as her stepson Garrett MacLean (Samantha).
She was blessed with six grandchildren: Erica Rose, Brooklyn, Theodore, Riley, Rosie and Maggie. She leaves behind her siblings Ron Harlick (Barb), and Faye Kostyk (Donald); her niece Stephanie Kilmury (Steve); great-nephew Adyn Barkhouse; and ex-husband Christopher Gregg. She wasgreeted in heaven by her parents Merville and Rose Gough of Irricana, AB and her stepson Cord MacLean.
Donna grew up in Irricana, AB, on the family farm and later settled down in High River, AB to raise a family of her own. She worked in insurance for 25 years and gained many lifelong relationships with her clients and coworkers over the years. She left a mark on everybody’s heart who was lucky enough to meet her. Donna had a keen eye and love for perfectionism and the ability to shine in anything she set out to do. She had a love for travel, gardening and socializing. Her bright smile and laugh will be greatly missed.
As per Mom’s final wishes, a private service will be held. It is important that everybody is able to pay their respects, and we will be hosting a celebration of life for all friends and family, where we can all come together in her honor, at a later date.
We would like to give a special thanks to the High River Hospital and the Foothills Country Hospice Society for taking such good care of Mom in her final days.
