It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Tom Morganon Tuesday, June 4, 2024, after a long illness.

Tom was born in Swift Current, SK, where he spent his childhood. After graduating from Swift Current Collegiate Institute, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan. He further completed the Forum for International Trade Training program at Mount Royal College in 1996.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, David and Margaret Morgan; his siblings, Ed Morgan, Jim (Lorraine) Morgan, Edith (John) Graham, and Gwladys (Ron) Reynolds. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, her children, Lana (Ivan) Bridger, James Morgan, and Laura Andrejiw; his daughter-in-law Colleen Layton, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his much-loved grandchildren, Ryley and Taylor Morgan, and Alexandria and Maddison Andrejiw.

Tom was a lifelong Roughriders fan and took pride in his Welsh heritage. “Cymru Am Byth”.

A special thank you to Dr. Timothy Dowdall and the caring staff at Oilfields Hospital in Diamond Valley, Dr. Michelle Geddes at Tom Baker Cancer Centre, and the South Health Campus for their compassionate care.

An informal gathering to celebrate Tom will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valley Neighbours Club (133 Sunset Blvd. S.W., Diamond Valley, AB T0L 2A0).
