Jacki-Lynne Bastable, a devoted artist and cherished member of her community, passed away on April 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity.
Born in Winnipeg on October 19, 1942, Jacki’s life was defined by her passion for art, family, and community. Throughout her journey, Jacki’s artistic talents flourished, captivating the hearts of many with her vibrant paintings.
Jacki is survived by her devoted children, Vern and Brett (Judi); her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Sean, Megan, Tomas and Max; her treasured great grandchild Liam; her beloved sister, Elaine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Terry, as well as her mother and father.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 18, at the United Church of the Valley in Diamond Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of Jacki’s resilience.
Though she has left this world, her spirit and legacy will endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, dear Jacki. You will be deeply missed.
