On Friday, May 24, 2024, our good man hired on with that heavenly cowboy crew where so many good hands and stockmen have gone before him, we know they will welcome him as one of the best.

Kim lived a wonderful, full life and he kept his good nature and sense of humour ‘til the end. He was a constant source of strength and courage to all who knew him, and made lasting friendships wherever he went.

He was a beloved husband, brother, dad, uncle, grandpa, and friend. Always patient and kind, wise and funny, and forever loyal to those he loved.

Carrying on his legacy of love, courage and laughter are his wife Marian, children Wyatt Anton; Jesse Anton (Trina and their children Kaleb, Kelcey (Hunter and great granddaughter Brynlee), Corbin, Dally and Boone); Tom Rowe; Colynne Leroux (Shayne and their children Elizabeth (Bryce), Taylor (Jayden) and Lane; Alana Manning (Ross) & Jessica Manning; sisters Patty Mainman, Maxine Noad and Inez Brennan (Ken) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved so much.

Kim was predeceased by his parents Alex and Tina Anton, brothers Dale and Alfie, andbrothers-in-law Jack Mainman and Fred Noad.

We are so incredibly grateful to the countless family and friends who visited Kim in the hospital to share memories and tell stories of adventures they had together, as well as the beautiful messages of love and support received throughout this enormously difficult time. We are also so truly appreciative of the wonderful staff at the Oilfields General Hospital for taking such great care of Kim, his family and all who came to see him, every day.

Kim touched so many lives over the too-few years that he was here, and he truly treasured his friends and family.

A celebration of Kim’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 2:00pm at the Highwood (Memorial) Centre, located at 128 – 5th Avenue SW in High River, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Sheep River Health Trust in Kim’s name to help them continue the meaningful work that they do in the community to support families like ours.
