April 28, 1949 - October 11, 2024

Justine Lee Smith, born on April 28, 1949,
passed away peacefully on October 11,
2024, in Calgary Alberta, where she spent
her formative years and created a lifetime of
beautiful memories.

Justine was a creative soul with a passion
for sewing and crafts, finding joy in bringing
her ideas to life. But, her hands crafted far
more than just lovely creations; they wove
a tapestry of love that enveloped her family
and friends.

She was the cherished daughter of Gertrude
and Johnston Smith.

Justine is survived by her three beloved
daughters: Alana (Lana), who had three
sons, Hunter, Cole, and Ty; Desiree and Mark
Crawford,(Joshua and Matthew); and Dixie
and Frank Dayka, (Tanner and Ashley). Justine
also leaves behind her son, Scott Malcolm. In
addition, she is survived by Scott’s children
Lane and Ashley Malcolm (Madilynn, Elly, and
Emerson). Jaimie Malcolm, Christy and Duke
Bell (Lainey).

Justine’s life was a reflection of the poem
“Footprints in the Sand,” which reminds us
that during the toughest times, we are never
truly alone. She took comfort in knowing that
she was carried through life’s challenges by
unwavering love and grace.

A celebration of life will be held at the Crystal
Shores Beach House, located at 403 Milligan
Drive in Okotoks, Alberta, on December 8,
2024 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Justine Lee Smith leaves a legacy of love
that will continue to inspire those whose
lives she touched. She will be deeply missed
but forever remembered in the hearts of her
family and all who knew her.
