Governments (politicians?) are odd. The UCP could not 'afford' to give Albertan's a tax break when the provincial budget was running a surplus. Now we have a deficit budget and Albertan's will be receiving a tax break. I feel as if I am being continuously mislead! It is all politics. Smoke, mirrors and deception.

Smith and the UCP thinks a tax break will make you forget about all the mismanagement of Alberta. Smith and the UCP give money away whenever they get in a corner.

She can keep my tax break and spend the money on a judicial inquiry into all the AHS outside contracts.

The 2025 Alberta budget cuts funding for the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) program by $49 million in 2025. Is this type of budget we should be proud of? It appears to be a shell game of moving funds from sick and handicapped Albertans to fiancé the tax cuts Smith promised in her election.
