He'll be remember for Child Care and Pharmacare and getting us through COVID. I thought back about the legacies of former Prime Ministers and many of them just ran the government well or poorly. Only a handful created things that are cherished today.

It's our do nothing MLA that doesn't get funding to build the overpass.

They spend our money on $70 million plus on medicine that wasn't or ever will be used and over $5 million storing it. Danielle got some great oiler tickets from the guy that did that deal.

Does Mark Carney’s victory change the way you’ll vote in the next election?

Will PP get his security clearance in time for the election? The Conservative made getting rid of Trudeau their platform and now they are after Carney like an attack dog.

I am waiting to hear a real policy of what the Conservatives will do. Carney's book The Hinge: Time to Build an Even Better Canada lays out his vision. Nothing nada from PP other than catchy jingles.

I am sure whatever she announces will be trivial. I am sure she does not want to rile up the separatist and MAGA types within the UCP. Meanwhile, the rest of Albertans want a strong Canada First response.

What grade do you give the new provincial budget?

Bill Campbell replied

Smith and the UCP thinks a tax break will make you forget about all the mismanagement of Alberta. Smith and the UCP give money away whenever they get in a corner.

She can keep my tax break and spend the money on a judicial inquiry into all the AHS outside contracts.

I agree with you 100% The UCP views education as a cost not and investment. The UCP is giving the O&G Industry whatever they want. The O&G Industry is making record profits and it's flowing to foreign shareholder not to Albertans.

At some point when O&G Industry decrease the industry will go elsewhere and we will a generation of students that were short changed and not equipped for that modern world.

I assume you're referring to the one in Northern Alberta. Kevin O'Leary, Danielle Smith and the UCP has ignored that it's planned to be on aboriginal land. They have not talked to the First Nation that's going to be affected about the land and water issues. A big number of gas wells will be needed to run the generators. Finally, the kid on the block Deepseek AI is changing the power requirements for AI. There's a bunch of factors, but Deepseek is in the range of 10-20% power consumption versus other AI systems.
