Christmas toy drive underway in Diamond Valley

Diamond Valley Fire Rescue and the Salvation Army have joined forces to accept donations of new, unwrapped toys until Dec. 13.

Diamond Valley Fire Rescue and the Salvation Army are holding a toy drive until Dec. 13. Toys can be dropped off at various locations in and around Diamond Valley.

A new toy drive is hoping to make Christmas special for kids in Diamond Valley.

Diamond Valley Fire Rescue and the Salvation Army are holding a Christmas toy drive and are accepting donations of new, unopened and unwrapped toys until Dec. 13. 

Donation boxes are located at participating businesses in Diamond Valley and Okotoks, where toys can be dropped off during business hours. 

After-hours donations can be left at either of the fire stations in Diamond Valley. 

In Diamond Valley, toys can be dropped off at the following locations: both fire stations, the Sheep River Library, Western Financial, Country Food Mart/AG Foods, Dairy Queen, Pharmasave, Rona, Marshall’s and the Turner Valley Legion. 

In Okotoks, toys can be dropped off at Brown’s Social House. Toys will also be accepted at the Foothills County fire station in Heritage Pointe. 

Toys are being accepted for all ages, from infants to teens.
