The Town of Diamond Valley said there has been a water main break in the Black Diamond community on Oct. 10.

Crews are working to repair a water main break in Black Diamond.

The break is on Government Road, north of Centre Avenue, and a notice to residents was issued on Oct. 10 by the Town of Diamond Valley.

Residents in the area may experience low water pressure or may temporarily not have water service.

The Town said further updates would be provided.

In a video posted to social media, Mayor Barry Crane said the break is the result of recent repairs and replacements on other sections of pipe that had been leaking.

"This is something that happens," Crane said. "Places where we have weaker lines now get more pressure."

He said that about five or six businesses are impacted, and water service should be restored later today.
